Pursuit of Gold with Lauren Wilkinson

Olympic champion Ryan Murphy, Tom Coughlin Jay Fund team up for young cancer patients

Olympic swimming champion Ryan Murphy and the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, founded by the former Jaguars coach, are using technology to connect with young cancer patients during the coronavirus pandemic.  In 2018, Murphy joined Tom Coughlin for a round of visits for cancer patients at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.  In 2020, Murphy connected with patients again, but did it remotely, having conversations with children from both Jacksonville and New York.
